Tampa-based healthcare consulting firm continues growth with hiring new controller and consultant

TAMPA, Fla. (June 11, 2014) — Continuing significant business growth fueled by the changing healthcare industry and the anticipated launch of two new software products in 2014, Cody Consulting created and filled two new positions in May: controller and consultant.

Cody Consulting has experienced explosive growth in sales over the past six months. The Tampa-based firm provides consulting services and proprietary software solutions to health plans throughout the country.

Todd Brown, CPA, joins Cody Consulting as controller and will manage the company’s financial matters, including managing financial data for investors. Brown was previously a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Tampa, and he brings more than 20 years of progressive accounting and finance experience to his new role.

“Having worked for a Big Four audit firm and having decades of finance experience, Todd was the perfect fit to bring an exceptional level of knowledge and expertise to our finance department,” said Deb Mabari, MBA, chief executive officer of Cody Consulting. “We are thrilled to have Todd join the team and be part of taking our growing organization to the next level.”

Tami Olmen also joined Cody Consulting in May. As a consultant, she will work on a variety of projects within Cody Consulting’s consulting and software divisions.

Cody Consulting hired Bradley Boyer as vice president of sales and marketing in December to maximize growth opportunities. By increasing the amount of client interaction in the marketplace, Cody Consulting is able to continue expanding its solution-based product portfolio through the feedback obtained from those interactions.

Cody Consulting specializes in maximizing efficiencies and cutting costs in the areas of marketing communications, compliance, business process outsourcing, and executive search and organizational development.

The firm’s proprietary software, CodySoft®, is the first of its kind developed specifically for health plans. Two programs, the Collateral Management Module™ (CMM) and Regulatory Analyzer™ (RA), are currently on the market. Cody Consulting plans to launch two additional software programs, which will integrate with the CMM and RA programs, later this year.
