CODY® Consulting partners with ATRIO Health Plans to enhance member experience for more than 15,000 members

TAMPA, Fla. (June 17, 2015) — In a move to provide its 15,523 Medicare Advantage (MA) and commercial health plan members with more accurate and efficient communications, Oregon-based health plan ATRIO Health Plans has partnered with Cody Consulting, a national healthcare consulting and technology firm based in Tampa, Fla.

Cody recently added eight new clients to its growing roster, including several Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. ATRIO will be implementing Cody Consulting’s proprietary software, CodySoft® Collateral Management Module™, to enhance management of marketing communications materials and regulatory compliance efforts for its MA and commercial products.

“With the high number of unique ANOC and EOC versions that ATRIO creates each year, it was clear that we needed to streamline our document development process and eliminate the manual creation of these materials,” said Steven Patterson, MBA, Chief Marketing Officer for ATRIO. “We are excited about this new  partnership and are confident that Cody’s expertise will be a valuable resource for our marketing and compliance teams.”

CodySoft® – which is the only project management and compliance tool specifically designed for health plans – will enable ATRIO to achieve greater efficiency in collateral creation and development, reduce the possibility of errors, and ensure materials are compliant with regulations set forth by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

It is the first application to combine the features of project management, document creation, compliance tracking, and reporting – all in one system. By streamlining the collateral creation process, the CodySoft® Collateral Management Module™ has allowed plans to finalize complete materials such as ANOCs and EOCs up to four week earlier as compared to their previously manual processes.

In all, CodySoft® is used by health plans in 29 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.

“With CMS cracking down on compliance violations, it’s very important for health plan member materials such as ANOCs and EOCs to be accurate, trackable and traceable,” said Deb Mabari, President and CEO of Cody Consulting. “We are looking forward to this partnership with ATRIO, as well as the numerous other plans that have recently joined our roster, and are confident that CodySoft® will help relieve the stress associated with staying on top of these documents.”
